This is a real Super Sport Chevelle that hasa 396/350 HP out of a 1970 Chevelle. The number at the back of the engine isT1044CTX. The number on the block has been shaved. Original M21 Muncie 4-speed and rear end matched to the car. The car is a two owner, and I have a clean title in hand. The person I bought the car from had it for nearly 40 years.
Everything works on the car- no issues, no rust, no dents. The interior is like new condition, No cracks in the dash, no rips in the seats, carpet is like new.Exterior is straight,no dents or rust anywhere. All glass is excellentand the convertibletop isin excellent shape.

The first three numbers in the vin are 138 on the vin plate and title,confirming the car is a true Super Sport Chevelle. The car sounds really nice, new exhaust, with power steering, power brakes, and posi traction. New BF Goodrich TA's all around including the spare tire.
The car was originally dark blue. The last owner over the years completely changed the color to black; he said over the years he had it painted two times in black. The under carriage is nice and clean, no rust. All gauges work, including the roll tachometer. The drivers seat is electric, and the convertible top is manual, easy for one person to take up and down.This car is definitely a very nice muscle caras well asinvestment. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 1968 Chevelle Super Sport Convertible. BEAUTIFUL CAR!

This car originally came with 396/350HP in 1968, the motor was replaced 40 years ago with a 396/350HP out of a 1970 Chevelle SS matched up with the original transmission and rear end that came with the car in 68. The car is original except for the motor. The motor was recently rebuilt when I purchased it. The past owner said it had under 1500 miles since the rebuild and I may have put 500 milessince. The car runs strong, an excellent car to have in anyone's collection. Thanks for checking out my auction. This is a fine looking Chevelle SS. Good Luck!
