Description

1972 Chevrolet Blazer CST
This was a very nice original, solid, Texas/Wash. truck before restoration.
I took this project over as a stalled project when I bought it. It was running driving and had been painted in a few places
This Blazer has a very good running 454 Big Block in it. I do not know much about its history other than the last year, and the projected stalled and it was in storage for a number of years. I do know its a very nice soild K-5 and I think with the original miles on it, other than the 454. the motor is oval port head with a older rebuild on it.. I do know it runs perfect, cool, smooth, idles smooth with no smoke and solid oil pressure. Has newer rochester quadra jet carb.
It is paired to a Turbo 350 Auto trans that shifts perfectly and pulls as it should. The transfer case is original and 4WD is all in good working order.
The truck came from the factory with Power Steering, Power Disk Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Air Conditioning, Cheyenne Trim., Newer tires on Fresh aluminum slot Wheels
It has a brand new gas Tank, fuel filler hoses, rubber fuel lines, fuel filter.
The exhaust was done before I got the blazer. Newer Mufflers. Complete job, it sounds great. Magnaflow is nice and quiet until you step on it, then it has a nice rumble.
Steering is very nice, front end is tight. Power steering is great with no howl and has a very good turning radius. New Steering Stabilizer.
The body was excellent to begin with. It had outer rockers professionally done The body work was very good and paint is an 9.5 out of 10. It has a few very small nicks from reassembly.. The truck was color sanded and buffed, it's flat and smooth with a very nice luster shine to it.
All the door rubber weatherstrip are new, window gaskets, also new felts.(except for the rear top hatch) The truck was disassembled when painted. The tinted glass is all new on the top,(except for the tinted hatch glass) the windshield is new.
The AC in in-op. Most is still in the truck and I have the compressor.(just no mount brackets for the AC compressor I do not have the rear spare tire carrier. I do have the brackets. The top is in very good shape and was painted nicely. I do not have the key for the rear top door. It is unlocked.
The rear seat and Front seats have been reupholstered. The original console is very nice cond., New dash pad, New carpet and original door panels. Visors are original.
All lights and gauges are working. (except the right turn signal, (I think the bulb is bad).
I did just buy a "RetroSound" radio. AM/FM and AUX that fits the original uncut dash. It also has new speakers.
All exterior stainless trim is new, most emblems, lenses etc.. The bumpers are originals.
This Blazer drives very well and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.please any question you want answered or pictures you might want just ask.
I have Clear, current NY registration /Title in my name in hand.
I can help store while shipping arrangements are made. But payment must paid before truck is picked, A non refundable deposit will be required with 48 hours, or the truck will be relisted. And will be consider to be a nonpayment. And feedback will be left. The truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. So bid to win
This truck was in storage since 2011. This Blazer was sold new in Texas, as brought to the high desert of eastern WA in the late 70’s, family owned until I bought it. the guy I bought this Blaze, he had known about this blazer for 8 years, took him that long to get the chance to buy it. , but ended up in Wash. the blazer had been undercoated, and taken care of. This blazer has a older rebuilt 454 motor in it, newer rochester Q-jet carb, the motor runs really strong . truck was stripped to bare metal, truck has all the original body, but when I got the truc, rockers needed replacement. the rocker boxes and the underneath of the truck is solid, (just a little diry from the texas/wash states). the truck has a pretty new 4" lift springs and shocks, also the u-joints were done, ( all done before I got the truck) has almost brand new 31" tires with new aluminum slotted rims. The inside is all new also, new seat foam, carpet, factory seat covers, new dash pad, also has a new radio that has blue-tooth and can be used with today's smart phones,(still needs a face plate, ) The truck was a custom (factory color with some added pearl ) color on it, looks amazing in the sun, paint on this truck is high quality and has been color sanded and buffed to a mirror finish, new windshield, truck has tinted windows including the the removable top, ac (not hooked up) tilt wheel, theres much more, this is a nice solid clean 97% original southern truck,
please any questions feel free to ask questions,
