1981 Chevrolet Corvette Base Coupe 2-Door

Description

1981 Corvette with four speed manual transmission. Great driver. Engine always starts up without difficulty. 105,618 on odometer. No major mechanical problems of which I am aware (the A/C is in need of repair). Lights, wipers, and power windows all work fine. I am only selling the car to make room in the garage for another classic car I just purchased.

The exterior is in great condition. No rust. Straight body. To my knowledge the car has always been in California. I tried to get pictures of the flaws in the exterior: slight damage on one of the fenders and a little metal showing through on edge of the black window trim on rear window (see pictures).

As the interior pictures show, the car originally had a red interior. One of the previous owners apparently wanted a black interior, so the carpet, seat covers, door panels, and arm rests were all changed to black. I think the interior looks good, but you can see that the arm rests are starting to show some of the red from under the black.

As the pictures show, the car has a high end sound system. It was professionally installed about two years ago at a cost of about $1,700.
