1959 El Camino Rust Free California Car
Description
For sale is my cherished 59 el camino. I looked for several years for a rust free '59 that I could build to my liking and here is the end result. It has a chevy 350 cubic inch, high nickel 010 block, with 6k miles on the rebuild. The exhaust is new. I recently added a 700r4 over drive trans and it only has 2k miles on that. The rear end was rebuilt at that time also. The Cragar wheels and tires are new also. The front brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes, and the whole brake system was rebuilt with upgraded power brake booster and master cyl. I went full power on this as I added power steering, power windows, a power seat from an Impala and a power antenna. The vintage Air Conditioner was added this year. I tastefully upgraded the interior from a plain truck to more of an Impala interior and it looks great. The gauges all work, and a 15" Impala steering wheel swapped out the original one. The original radio was upgraded with a digital MP3 stereo and power antenna. but looks clean and doesn't take away from the dash appearance. Custom made bullet windshield wiper arm covers were added to give it that clean wiper arm delete look. The interior was all re-done, I added stainless trim to the interior, as well as Impala armrests. The carpet is replaced, as well as the door panels, and retractable shoulder seat belts were added for safety. The bench seat was recovered and a/c was added. It has the original glass all around in it, the original stainless trim is presentable. The paint job is a clean, respectable 10 footer, the rear tailgate has the emblem deleted for a cleaner look. The front and rear bumpers have both been re-chromed. The front fender rockets are original GM new old stock. This is a rust free car, including the bed, doors, window channels and floor pans. Much thought, time and consideration went into the build and it shows. If you are looking for that rust free, don't see this everyday kind of attention getter, then this is the one. I get compliments constantly and the new owner should expect the same. The vehicle is almost 60 years old, with that being said, I urge a personal inspection and for you to perform your own due diligence when researching the vehicle. $500 non refundable deposit due via Paypal at auction end.
