Description

1949 Chevy Truck Long Bed. No Reserve Auction. Six cylinder with 3 speed with granny low. This truck will start and run around yard. Brakes are functioning. Trans seems to shift correctly. Clutch a little jerky when you let off the pedal but pulls fine. Engine runs with no smoke, idles good, clean oil. Hold 30lbsof oil pressure at idle and water temp holds at 190. It has a new fuel pump and alternator. The block has a hair line crack shown in picture that is seeping antifreeze. It seeps so slow the water never leaks to ground. I ran it for 30minutes at idle. It held oil pressure and didn't overheat. I don't see any water in oil. It is not road ready. It will have to be towed or trailered. One bolt broke on hood hinge. Door handle missing on passenger side and will not latch. I don't have any extra parts except for a windshield wiper for driver's side. No rust around front or back glass. There is some rust in dash near steering column and in side lower doors (shownin pictures). Gas tank is missing. I have been running the truck with a 2 gallon gas can. Over all not a back truck to restore. TN title in my name. Cash in person
