Description

1972 Camaro which was a nearly 6 year project. Car has only been driven 100 miles since full restoration. From what i understand 1972 was a strike year and the amount of Camaros produced was nearly half of the year before it. This car is 1 of approx 11,000 original 4 speed manual cars produced. The numbers matching 350 engine has been professionally disassembled, bored, cleaned, painted, fitted with an aluminum manifold, patriot freedom aluminum heads, edelbrock 4 barrell carb, aluminum deep oil pan, Hedman headers and cooled by a be-cool aluminum radiator. The original numbers matching Saginaw 4 speed trans has been disassembled, cleaned, and fitted with a Hurst Competition shifter and Centerforce clutch. The amazing paint job was done by a Mercedes specialist shop using Glazurit high end paint. Nearly everything you see on the car is new. All trim, weatherstrip, chrome, windshield, dash pad, brakes front and rear, PST industries polyurethane bushing kit. ...the list goes on. i have a 6 inch thick folder of receipts that will go with the car. All parts were bought from Classic Industries, Year One, NPD and Summit Racing. 2 donor cars were used to build this car in the process. Brand new 17" Rev chrome rims and Nitto tires were just installed and have 0 miles on them....the gray rime are no longer on the car i also have many before, during and after pics that i can email which show complete disassembly. There are no dents, scratches, or rust on the entire car. It has not even been washed after getting back from paint. This is a very nice high quality restoration as the pictures show.
There are a few minor items that will need attention:Speedometer cable has to be installed...i have the cable and it will go with the carThe dash carrier that i ordered new from classic industries was defective and they have no replacement. i do have the old one and you will have to re-install it ( it is in fair condition with a crack)The 2-1/2" summit exhaust has to be tightened...i put magnaflow mufflers on it and in my opinion they are too loud...so i never tightened everything down....i will also send the Summit mufflers which are quieterIm sure there is a bulb here and there that has to be replaced. all lights and switches work as they shouldi never put the windshield wipers on the carglove box lock...i have the new one just never replaced it. Steering wheel has some cracks but is ok to useOil pan has a small slow leak....maybe gasket from sitting? Or oil pan itself?Lastly it should be tuned, timing set before any heavy driving (i start it every couple weeks but dont really drive it at all.
You can come take a look in person. Shipping is your responsibility. This is a 44 year old car....please remember thatPlease ask any questions you may have
