Description

I bought this Chevelle a couple years ago. I'd heard about it for years and everybody kind of lost track of it. Got a call out the blue from his uncle that he wanted to sell it. So I went and looked at it, it was awesome. period built 1970's hot rod big block chevelle. I cleaned it up and made some updates and repairs to make it drivable and safe. Driven a couple thousand miles a summer and took to cool Deadwood nights this fall even.

what is it...

-factory Red, black bench seat interior, tilt wheel, gauges, stripe delete, 4.10 12 bolt posi, th400

cool 70's hot rod parts...

-American racing torque thrusts, not repops, just cleaned and polished. GENUINE real deal, Mickey Thompson Super Scavenger's headers, Holley 750 carb, GM LS6 solid lifter camshaft and springs, M/T valve covers, aluimun rear end cover

updates...

-carpet, front seat cover, tires, shocks, springs front and rear (had some sort of station wagon monster springs so it sat high all the way around), new 2.5 exhaust with Walker Super turbos (scavengers sound GREAT) NOS GM exhaust tips, fluids changed, aluminum radiator (kept original but tanks are pretty thin), pertronix in original distributor

car was repainted once in the 70's and has had one fender swapped. little bit of rust bubbling but no mud. paint looks great buffed from a distance but was a 70's era job. I didn't want to paint it, it has a great 70's vibe. thr trunk floor, floor pans, door jam paint, etc. all original yet. Motor has some piston slap but it runs strong.trans still scratches 2nd gear rubber. if you want specific pics, let me know its in garage at home. I have a video of it idling with scavengers after install new exhaust. you could restore but it would be a shame to lose all the cool heritage. I get thumbs up everytime I drive it.
