When the '65 Corvette was introduced, it made a big splash in more ways than one! This was a milestone year for Corvette in that it was the last year for the legendary Fuelie, but it was the first year for 4-wheel disc brakes as standard equipment. Oh, and one more thing, it was also the first year for the mighty Big Block engine! The 396ci Mark IV engine was a huge game changer for Corvette. It was developed for the track, and made a name for itself there and on the street. But, let's not discount the awesome small block! In '65 you had no less than 5 to choose from!!
