Up for bid is my very clean 59 impala, I don't really want to let it go but its time. It is equipped with a 283 v8 2bbl. Has a 2 spd power glide transmission (both believed to be original to the car) it runs great starts easily and drives very well.
The interior is super clean and original, the seats are nearly perfect as are the door panels and headliner. The dash paint,gauges and steering wheel look like they were installed yesterday( thats how nice they are). the only thing that was replaced is the carpet. I inspected the floor while installing it and only found 2 small dime size rust holes that were patched and welded up.
The body is very straight, all the trim is nice and in place, there is one small ding in passenger front fender. The paint is very presentable, it has a great old school look. The body is super solid and shows no sign of rust, neither do the rockers and trunk floor. The glass is all there and in good condition other than a crack in the side window.
The wheels and tires are new with nearly no miles on them, car has dual exhaust, the motor has been cleaned and detailed. This is a super nice car that is rust free, it is unrestored and has a ton of originalityIm sure there are not many of these 59s left, It is a super cool old school impala.
