Description

Selling my recently acquired '90 Chevy C1500 Shortbed Pickup with a starting bid of $3500
Truck has a T56 6 speed manual out of a '97 ws6 Trans Am. Hurst Shifter, TBI 350, aftermarket headers, 3 inch dual exhaust etc. 4:10 rear posi. Four wheel disc brakes. Lots of new parts and runs beautifully.
'00 Denali front end conversion (needs Paint to match the rest of the truck and minor bodywork), rest of the body in excellent condition. true HID headlights, shaved rear bumper, LED taillights.
True Hidden Hitch. Rear license plate drops down to reveal receiver.
Lowered on Belltech 4/6 suspension. Caprice 9c1 Wheels with brand new Whitewall tires.
No Rust, very clean underneath. Frame is like new. Truck has only seen winter conditions this year, it's spent a majority of it's life in the southern states. Cab corners and rockers beautiful (4th to last pic I believe depicts the condition). See pics of how beautiful this truck is underneath.
Poly body mount bushings.
Shaved rear steel not fiberglass rear bumper, factory fully functional tailgate. Hurst emblem on lower left corner of tailgate adds a nice touch.
My daily driver and it sounds mean...once again...the truck sounds mean! It "garbles " at take off, and sounds like a monster all the way to sixth gear. I get compliments on its appearance and it's sound!
New Auto page two-way alarm
cd player
Autometer tach
Heat/ defrost/work great AC nice and cold.
Interior has newer carpet. Door cards and dash in good shape. Original seats with seat covers.
Mileage discrepancy on title, but it is clear and in my name. 169000mi. on the dash.
Was planning on taking the truck all the way to show status, wouldn't take a whole heck of a lot, but I'm in need of a van for an upcoming contract. You could do an LS conversion but the tbi 350 runs so well and sounds so good, you might be reluctant to do so. I was shocked at how well the engine runs and sounds, not even the slightest tick, knock, or weird noise. It starts up ever time with one turn of the key with no foot on the gas. I won't go out on a limb to say it was rebuilt, but if a new or rebuilt engine should sound like anything it should be like the one in this truck.
Surprisingly good on gas mileage for a older 350. Having a 6th gear really helps on the highway mpg's, having a 6 speed manual allows you to really take advantage of the power that the 350 has to offer.
Issues;
Fenders, front end assembly, and hood need painted to match the rest of the truck.
Fenders and front end were sourced from a used GMC Denali and have a few dings, scratches, and very very slight surface rust (not really worth mentioning the last two pics show the only surface rust on the truck). The fender flares were removed but the rivet holes remain. Some minor body work would be required before paint.
A few very small paint chips on rest of the body
No windshield cowl, washers or reservoir.
Speedometer off considerably due to the transmission conversion, I use my Navigation unit (not included) for accurate speed.
Oil pressure gauge not accurate but was tested with another gauge right at the engine and found to be great.
Original seats have tears and are covered with seat covers
Power door locks only work with alarm.
Emergency brake cable was cut or disconnected at some point.
No inner fenders in the engine compartment. Despite all these imperfections, I still feel like even the Buy it Now price is a bargain, and you're getting a lot for your money, not to mention the fact that there's the chance you may get it even cheaper since the bidding starts at $3500 with no reserve. I am ONLY selling it because I just got an out of state installation contract that i start next week, and I really need a van to transport and secure my clients equipment.
Truck is sold as-is no warranties
