Description

This 1963 Turbocharged Corvair Monza Spyder is a ball to drive and will get up and Go!! And turns everyone's head and is almost exactly the way it rolled off the showroom floor back in 1963. Won the Admiral award and best in Class Trophies at the first showing (6-25-2016)....I'm very strict about originality.Excellent Original and Restored Condition, rust free car. The paint is nice but does have some chips and imperfections. The interior is all original with no rips or tears on the seats and the original Headliner is beautiful as are the door panels. The carpet is original and in good cond. but does have some sun fade. There is no cardboard ($60 bucks at Clarks) behind the rear seat,I took it out to replace it and never did.The glass is shinny and no damage but could use vent window rubber.Brakes have been completely Restored to new cond. with new master cyl. Everything in the engine compartment is new or has been rebuilt and powder coated. The trunk area was wire brushed and painted to new cond. The fuel tank is about 3yrs.old but I just replaced the fuel sending unit and installed a hidden electric fuel pump that routs through the original fuel pump so it keeps it's original appearance. The original style air filter is a K&N type.New original style performance muffler.Turbo & Carb. rebuilt and installed when I installed all the newly powder coated sheet metal on the engine at the end of March. All new tune-up and parts. This is a drive anywhere Turbo Corvair that does not need much to make it 100% perfect. I have never seen one this nice nor has anyone that has seen it and we're all vintage car guys.I have tried to cover all the areas on the car but i'm sure I left something out so if you have any questions please give me a call,I'll be happy to talk to you..Kenny @ 210-605-5144
