Description

I am selling my 1966 convertible corvette,I have owned for over 30 years I have not driven car for over 9 years.Car will need some work, drivers side rear brake caliper seal leaked out brake fluid, car will need to be picked up on a trailer or roll back if purchased.I have only replaced exhaust system (aluma coating),radiator (repaired),water pump, alternator and battery over the years everything else was done before I purchased. So I do not know history before then.Original motor was replaced before I purchased and I was told a 1968 327 small block chevy was installed. As per photos I have original engine block, crank and caps.I greased original block and crank over 30 years ago and stored.Car has always been garage kept and I have included several photos showing condition of car.I installed battery and removed old fuel and replaced gas filter to start car.As per photos I removed valve cover to show condition of head under valve cover.Car starts and runs unable to drive because of no brakes (caliper fluid leaked out) .I have enjoyed the car for a lot of years and was going to restore with original motor .Frame appears rust free with no issues.Kids growing up and priorities have changed and I have decided to sell for a fair price .Last time I drove car everything appeared to work except clock and now radio, after 9 years of only being started in the garage I know car will require some work to make it a driver again or restoration to make it a show car.(Great project car for someone who has more time than I do) being SOLD AS IS with NO WARRANTY.Car will need some repairs drivers side rear brake caliper leaked out brake fluid, also appears power steering and/or transmission seals have leaked some fluid also. When I purchased original motor was removed and I was told 1968 327 small block chevy was installed. As per photos I have original engine block, crank and caps.Car has always been garage kept and I have included several photos showing condition of car. Paint has chips and interior has some cracks as per photos..SOLD AS IS No Warranty$500 paypal non refundable deposit within 48hoursPlease only bid if you plan to complete sale.If you have any questions or need more pictures let me know .
