1965 Corvair Corsa Coupe
Description
This is a fine example of a restoration that was originally done to a very good standard and I have maintained it to the condition that you can see by the photographs. I purchased the car from the US and had it shipped to Canada in April 2011. The car is in very good condition and there is not very many things that need attention. All features and equipment work, tach, gauges, wipers lights, horn etc, as they are supposed to, except for clock. Radio also works, of course it is only AM. I installed a simple stereo under dash with no damage to dash. In the last couple of months I have installed a new tinted windshield ( old one was pitted ) and a new headliner ( stitching was letting go) and also brakes( hoses, wheel cylinders, spring kits and shoes). I installed the aluminum wheels and tires when I got the car to Canada. You can see in the pictures that there is the set of wheels and tires that came with the car and they are included. The engine, transmission, clutch and trans axle have performed perfectly for me. The only thing that needed attention was one universal joint and I replaced all four. Changed trans axle gear oil recently and of course regular oil changes. Since I have owned the car it sees very limited use. The odd cruise around town and I mean limited here in Canada. It has been parked indoors all the time I have owned it.I have the title from the US if it means anything. I have purchased vehicles online before and pictures do not show small imperfections and there is some, but if you study the pictures carefully you should be able to tell that this is a very solid car that has not been abused or altered and has some very nice attributes. Two screws to remove stereo and putting the other wheels back on the car would make the car absolutely original. If a person is interested there could be an arrangement made to bring vehicle to Montana border crossing for pickup by you or shipping company.
