Description

This is a rare authentic 454SS C1500 truck. Only about 20,000 were made from 90-93. The truck is in good condition. I have owned it for 3 years and put 300 miles on the truck. I own it free and clear.
The truck is a torque monster, only 230HP, but 385 foot pounds of torque. Of course with modifications, the numbers could get ridiculous.
Here is a list of new parts and work done that I can remember.
-New battery
-Alternator
-Starter
-Upper control arms ball joints
-Shocks
-Master cylinder
-Proportioning valve
-Front calipers/pads
-Rear wheel anti lock brake/dump valve module
-Front calipers and pads
-Rear Drums, pads, hardware, wheel cylinders, axle seals
-Brake lines as appropriate
-Fluids changed throughout, differential, transmission, synthetic oil, brake fluid, antifreeze
-Diff seal
-Heater core
-Front speakers
The truck has about 179K miles. The engine was replaced with re-manufactured Chevy engine about 100K or so. No way of knowing the exact replacement mileage. Because of this I doubt it is matching numbers. The Chevy re-manufactured plate for the engine is still on the bottom of the truck. I believe I have the car-fax from when I purchased the truck. I have the original manuals and sales card from when purchased new. The only thing I know is not original is the 31 inch tires. I also have shop manuals in CD format and complete wiring diagram images.

Unknown if the air-conditioning work because the service valve needs to be replaced, but the compressorseems okay. Not original exhaust and cat back been taken out. Some minor wiring issues and service light comes on because of emissions and exhaust.
There is very little rust. One spot under passenger side door on rocker panel. Not bad and easily fixed with some metal work. I bought the truck in hopes of doing a full restoration or restoration/modification but other priorities have prevented me from carrying through. The engine runs strong. Turbo hydra-matic three speed shifts fine.
Looking for a buyer that wants to take over the job and do it right. Parts are readily available since it is C1500 format. Overall in good condition with some minor things I can cover with you upon inspection.
There are very few out there anymore, and they will only increase in value. Reasonable offers will be considered. I have put a lot of money into the truck and don't expect to make it all back. Please if you don't have the money, don't purchase or make offer.
