1981 Chevy K5 Blazer Rare 2WD CLEAN
Description
You are bidding on a 1981 Chevrolet Blazer with the 2WD option. Not many made in 2WD
Everything works except the radio.
Runs and drives great with cold A/C and an automatic transmission with overdrive. Can be trusted as a great daily driver or a fun weekend truck. There are a few custom additions that an be undone, such as: Plasti-Dip coating over the original hugger orange as an option instead of new paint. It has the original top, however it also has a new $1150.00 "soft topper" brand soft top with frame and canvas to make this a convertible. The rear has been responsibly lowered using different leaf springs, I have the original springs if you like the factory height.
The 305cid engine was professionally upgraded to a later model 5.7 (350) TBI not too long ago. The 700R4 transmission works great and shifts smoothly. The truck rides nicely with tight steering. The brakes were recently gone through and work as they should.
This truck has never had to have any major body repairs, the frame and body are solid. However there are signs of bubbles along the driver's side rocker panel, tiny spots at door corners and both rear seat foot-well corners under the vehicle have began to expose rust (see photos). But this is not bad at all.
Please ask any questions, no trades accepted nor ending this auction early. Once the reserve price has been met, the highest bidder wins. This truck can be seen in Central Florida, I will meet anyone who would like to see it. This is a cool truck, not many 2WD's out there. Bid with confidence.
