1989 Chevrolet Silverado R1500 2WD Suburban, 137,000 original miles (going up at I drive it a lot). ALL ORIGINAL AS NEAR AS I CAN TELL!!
Great (nearly excellent) condition in and out for it's age.
Lots of new parts including: EGR valve, EGR sensor, front brakes, battery, spark plugs and wires, distributor cab and rotor, air filter, thermostat and gasket, transmission pan gasket and filter, windshield, windshield wipers, rear speakers, tires, shocks, headliner, pcv valve, exhaust from the Cat back (looks stock but is much louder with Paradox muffler),and rear tailgate weatherstripping. I may put a new high torque starter on too depending on the sales price. Nothing wrong with the existing starter, it just doesn't crank as quickly as it could.
Goods: fresh oil change and filter, flushed radiator, flushed rear differential, fresh fluid and filter in transmission. Air conditioner works, heater works and heater core does not leak, rear power window works and tailgate lowers, cruise control works, radio works.
Bads: one lone crack in dash by drivers front speaker, crack in drivers door padded arm rest, piece of chrome interior trim came off (I still have it), and there are 2 spots on the exterior where rust has just or is just about to bubble through the paint (minor spots that can be touched up easily)
Interior is grayish blue clothe with a bench front seat and rear seat (no third row). The seats are in perfect condition. The wood grain on the dash isn't chipped or fading. The paint on the dash is still shiny!
All around EXCELLENT square body truck. Would easily make a great show truck or daily driver, I get around 14 miles to the gallon.
