Description

1969 Chevelle Yenko tribute As pictures will try to capture this cars panels are as straight as can be with SMOOTH contours and CRISP lines! The panel gaps line up PERFECTLY and the paint that was laid out over this laser straight body is SHOW quality! The vibrant, rich Corvette Medium Blue Metallic is incredible at any angle you want to take it in! The clear that was laid out adds a TON of depth and the reflection is mirror quality in this Chevelle. I have NEVER seen a Yenko Tribute, or TRUE Yenko paint job look this good in my LIFE! This meticulous nut and bolt rotisserie restoration is exactly what everybody wishes there restoration would look like! The Yenko decal kit is TRUE SYC PRODUCTION and the badges are as well! EVERYTHING is NEW!! The glass is all clear, GM post dated 1969 and easy to see through. The bumpers reflect like a mirror and the grill is PERFECT! The bottom of this car looks just as clean as the the top! The pans are all solid as pictures will show! The frame has been media blasted, coated and this car represents a TRUE rotisserie with NO expense spared in ANY way! The fit and finish on this vehicle is second to none and there is not enough adjectives in the English dictionary to describe this car! This car has WELL over 97k invested into this SPOT ON build. The interior is show quality also from a set of Yenko headrests, hand worked seats and hand worked rears to match. The carpet is ALL new and free of stains. The gauges are ALL clear and easy to read. The addition of a Yenko Stewart Warner Tack, Green Line oil pressure, temp and amps gauges (Also Yenko Stewart Warner) are not only 60s era correct but make the details of this build all fall into place. The dash is perfect and the door panels have been reworked to match the custom seats as well! Everything on this interior is perfect right down to the AM radio paired to a Secret Audio media player tucked nicety into the glove box! To top it all of the builder sourced a His and Her Hurst shifter that is period correct as well! Inside and out this car is a show stopper! As you pop the hood you will notice that between the fenders rests a GM 454 (289 cast) block that has been completely rebuilt and bored 100 over! The internals consist of a roller rocker kit, machined steel GM crank, GM BIG rods (7/16 thread), and a 4 bolt main. The pistons are TRW forged flat top pistons fitted with Molly rings. It was ALL assembled with ARP hardware as well! The close chambered heads have been ported and polished for MAX flow and the valve seats have been hardened to run pump gas without an issue. The valve train consists of TRW valves and springs with a competition 3 degree angle valve job. The end result is a compression ratio of about 10:1 and ALL KINDS of torque! This CUSTOM BUILT big block has an aluminum intake manifold and a Holley 780 carb (#4346) that is dated 8A3 witch is period correct as well! The ignition comes via Protronics. This engine is paired to a turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit that shifts smooth as butter! In the rear you will find a 12 bolt diff that is KQ code (1969 correct) that hosts 4:10 gears and a high performance posi assembly! This car starts with the turn of a key first time every time. It runs extremely well and drives like NO OTHER! The custom exhaust has an incredible note that is VERY unique and comes form a set of reproduction Mickey Thompson Super Scavenger headers! These were custom built and EVERY tube is equal length! It sounds GREAT at idle and only gets better as you get into the gas! Everything on this car works as it should right down to the door buzzer! This Chevelle is equipped to stop with a set of disc breaks up front and oversized 11' drums in the rear. This beauty rests on a set of original American Wheels that are all aluminum unlike the reproductions that have steel inserts with aluminum lips. They are wrapped in a set of BF's that are next to new and the rear 255s do a great job of putting all of that power
