Description

Rare 1966 K10 factory long bed 4x4 pickup project. Standard catalog of American trucks shows production of long bed half ton 4x4 fleetside K10 pickups to be 1,976 trucks. I have been told of these 1976 4x4's only 612 were built with custom trim pkg. Truck is mostly complete minus engine and bell housing and work had been started and comes with many parts and some repro parts as well. All I can tell you that I see. Actual mileage is unknown Over all cab is solid no roof rot or rot in A pillars or cowl, what rust in floor has been cut out and replaced and tacked in place but needs to be completed, lower cab corners need to be finished, New rocker panels are in place but not welded in, has used repro inner fenders in good shape and used repro fenders as well as originals are a little rough but hardware is there battery tray washer bottle frame, fender emblems, body side trim is missing, but cab custom trim is there one side is damaged but could be pieced back together, no rot in hood one small dent that actually is smaller than looks in pics, doors have some minor outer rust thru but overall easy repairable very nice and clean inside great door panels,The truck was 6 cyl 3 on tree but a GM four speed is what is there no engine but divorced transfer case with all drive shafts are there from the manual trans back, has original floor parking brake lever but has been updated to dash mounted working parking brake to rear wheels, The gentleman I got truck from was going to put a Cummins in it, so trans cross-member was cut but a clean cut an easy weld back together, In addition side motor mounts are bolted to frame not welded, original motor mount I believe was front engine mount common of 6 cyl. trucks of this vintage, bed is a little rough but repairable what rot is there is below body molding line above is solid and straight, original bed wood is poor and skid strips and cross sills have some rust, tailgate is solid no rot thru and not beat badly with latches in place hardly ever see an old truck still with its tailgate, Solid frame has surface rust no rust thru that I can find anywhere, Suspension is original uncut and never lifted front axle is closed knuckle and free wheeling hubs as original and GM corporate rear all 6 lug, Inside of truck is pretty darn clean original paint, seat and even 4x4 operation decal on roof, door panels are nice all hardware and handles one door handle is a incorrect dodge handle, all glass is there and good but windshield is cracked, new reproduction chrome floor sills, extra bezels and lens for exterior signals, 2 gas tanks, Has a painted front bumper that would be nice with minor work truck is missing about nothing but engine and bell housing, At first glance truck looks rough but when you really start looking it has great potential and in better shape than first impression, Truck came from Virginia has 2/16/16 Florida title I will sell with Georgia bill of sale and Florida open title. Can deliver within 400 miles for $2 dollars a loaded mile, At end of auction $500 dollar deposit thru Paypal balance to be paid within 10 days cash or cashiers check/money order too clear my bank for truck to be released to buyers possession or his agent. I would be happy too discuss over phone any inquiries message for number and time to be reached. I have provided many pics, I am a power wagon guy but researched this truck and is the real deal verified by K vin number on upper door jamb and title. Is a cool very rare truck of a popular Chevy body style that I have never seen in a 4x4, have more pics just all I could put in ad.
