Rare 1959 Chevrolet Apache Fleet Side Short Bed Pickup truck for sale

The 1959 Chevrolet Apache is one of the most distinctive and desirable body styles Chevrolet produced in pickup trucks. Although there were a lot of 1959 Chevy pickups made, there was limited production of the Short Bed Apache Fleet Side's produced, making them rare.

This truck has a small block V8 Chevy engine (not certain if it is the original) that runs good and sounds solid with good oil pressure. The original three speed, column shift manual transmission has been changed over to a 350 turbo automatic. The column shifter and clutch pedal and still intact and the automatic has been setup to shift with the 3 speed column shifter.

The truck has a new gas tank, sending unit and filer neck. It also has a good exhaust system that sounds good and the truck runs and can be driven anywhere.

As you can see from the photos, the truck is complete and in very good condition. The body is straight and very solid with a little (very repairable) rust areas on drivers door forward pillar, the bottom of the doors and a few small holes in the floor.

The bed has had a sheet of corrugated metal welded in but it appears the wood bed is underneath the metal sheet. The side walls, front wall and tailgate are all in good restore-able condition.

The interior is complete with the exception of the radio and is in good restore-able condition as well.

The truck drives and has a fairly new set of Goodyear tires and late model rally wheels with beauty rings and caps. The truck is sitting on its original suspension and drive fairly well.

We purchased this truck for a client with the plans to restore it for him. The client had a issue come up that would not allow him to do the project so we are selling this awesome truck.

The 1959 Apache Fleet Side's (once restored) are selling for $45,000 to $55,000. This truck will make a great restoration project for either the car enthusiast or a professional restoration shop. It is a awesome investment and you will make money on your investment while you enjoy the truck.
