1963 Chrysler Newport New Yorker "pillarless" station wagon..
Description
What we have here is a "real deal Iowa farm find"... Very rare "pillar less" hardtop station wagon with NO ROT
Original Interior that is great! Was last registered in Iowa in 1970..Mileage was 18,300 when I got it last year.
It now has 22,045 miles I have driven to Daytona Florida, Georgia, Columbus Ohio, York Pa and Burlington Vt. 100% trouble free
Mileage was original as fan belt, coil, ballast resistor, wires were "date coded" 9/63 and had original Mopar emblems.. NO ROT OR RUST REPAIR! Just dirty.......................
Vehicle has old heavy undercoat (therefore no rot)... H.D. Adeco rear sway bar installed...
383 Big Block V8 and 100% rebuilt 727 push button transmission.. Petronic HEI Ignition added..
New Hooker 2 1/2" exhaust from muffler back.. rebuilt carb, new fuel lines and boiled out tank with new sending unit. ALL GAUGES WORK...
NEW Power steering box & pump complete unit with a new alignment...
NEW BRAKES, New dual Master cylinder, hoses, wheel cylinders and hoses...Chrome is original and decent.. glass is perfect (one small stone chip that was professionally repaired)..
EVERYTHING WORKS except radio which buzzes... Original spare & jack...
NEW Coy's 18" wheels and Nexum radials.. Car runs like new and has no rattles...
The paint is PPG BC/CC original color urthane. Door jams are NOT painted...
Stripes are by PalmCoast Eddie in urathane.. These can easily be removed with enamel reducer and a mild compounding (no catalyst) I have done it before.........................................................
Vintage Air complete under dash unit has been added (ICE COLD) ..aux. a/c controlled fan..(not in all pics)
Look at my 100% feedback... I sell nice cars .. I can deliver up to 150 MapQuest miles for $1.75 per + tolls
I can also assist your transporter or recommend a great reliable and honest one..
I will require a $300 PayPal deposit and the balance thru a Bank Wire Transfer (let the Pros do it)
This is my personal car that is part of my collection.. The price is basically what I have invested and did 99% of the work myself (retired Body Shop owner)....
