Description

Up for sale is my 1955 Chrysler C300. I purchased the car from a gentlemen in New Mexico whom inherited the car from his friend (1st owner). The man whom inherited the car was a Buick man and didn't have an interest in the C300. I purchased the car and had it delivered to NJ. Upon inspection with my mechanic we went about going through the top half of the engine replacing all the perishable parts including hoses, belts, as well as rebuilding the heads, starter, generator, and carburetors. I had the radiator re-cored and dropped the oil pan and cleaned it out. I replaced the shocks, rear springs, and completely rebuilt the brake system, including having the master cylinder sent out to California for proper rebuilding. I also had a modern oil filter adapter installed for better function from Hot Heads. Since the car was so original I didn't want to replace the nice leather inside but I did have the seats re-cushioned saving the original leather. I had the original 5 Motor wheels restored by Fred Belanger in Auburn MA (small fortune but worth it) and wrapped them in Coker wide whites with the correct width white wall. In the act of full disclosure the only thing that does not function is the radio.
She is a true survivor that can be driven anywhere. I have taken her to Carlisle for the Chryslers at Carlisle two times and she has performed flawlessly. The hemi is a beast and will have no trouble keeping up with modern traffic on the highway.
This car is registered with the Chrysler Club International and is the 195th Chrysler 300 made...
I do not need help selling the car but if anyone has questions feel free to contact me.
