1989 Chrysler New Yorker
Description
I got this car in Jan. 08 as a project car with 132k miles on it. Friends have told me I was very foolish to put all the money into this car that I did. Maybe so. I enjoy working on them. It took about 2.5 years in my work shop to get it on the road. I have used it for the last 7.5 years or so going back and forth to work. In Dec 2017 I retired so I no longer need the car. The car when new started life in Tampa Fl. No rust. I am not going to get my money out of it and that is ok. The list is too long to list everything I have replaced or repaired.
I can tell you that with the air running 28 to 29 mpg and with out you will get about 29 to 30mpg at 60 to 65 mph.
It has no oil leaks and DOES NOT used any oil between changes (3000-3500) miles.
Doesn't smoke.
Tires are cooper trendsetters SE and the date code on all 4 tires is 2911.
some of the parts I have replaced are a
new heater cor, radiator . Air condition compressor and condenser.
all water hose, fuel pump along with injectors, starter, alt, body compeer, brake system with some new used lines and rear hardware, shocks and rear springs, roll bar bushings.
front axles and bearings, new main and rod bearings in the motor. New factory rebuilt radio. Has a h-ll of a good sound system with no bad speakers. And I sure there are many more things.
Cornering lights don't work due to a bad dual turn signal switch. I cost too much. Turn signals are fine.
If you have any questions call Greg at- 636-699-3379
I would be willing to pick anyone up at the airport and you could drive home.
