1979 Chrysler Fifth Avenue New Yorker Excellent Running "Last Chance"
Description
Five new tires, new brakes (front & rear), new wheel cylinders, new brake lines, new master cylinder, new fuel sending unit, new fuel lines, new upper and lower radiator hoses, new heater hoses, new spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new inner grease seals front wheels, front wheel bearings have been cleaned and packed with new grease. THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I WILL PUT THIS CAR UP ON EBAY.
Transmission has been serviced, new front and rear seals and new transmission fluid. New drive shaft universal joint, new alternator belts, new oil and oil filter, new battery and battery cable, air conditioning needs to be charged (previous owner had replaced receiver dryer and condensor, but never had the system recharged). Windshield wipers currently not working (we do have the wiper motor, it will need to be installed).
Also, the right/passenger side leaf spring has been replaced. The damage on the right/passenger rear was caused when the previous owner was driving on a flat tire, the car shook so hard it broke the leaf spring. The steel belted tire shredded and caused the damage to the wheel well Besides the new leaf spring, new U-bolts on both sided and new rear Monroe shocks. This is the original mileage on this vehicle, 118074. From what I can see, the sun roof is original, as well. It does not leak and it works perfectly. The car also has a nice stereo system. This was my sons first car,he eventually saved his money and bought a old BMW,he said that the chrysler used to much gas. That is why i replaced all those parts,i thought he would keep the car for a while,my loss is your gain. The engine is a 360 cu.in.,with a two barrel carburetor, and it runs great, and does not smoke.I replaced many of these items not because they needed to be replaced, but because i wanted to make the car as safe as possible for my son, because of the age of the vehicle.
