Some history:Originally a southern California car, this 300Dsat outside in the hot, sunny climate of West Covina, California from the late 1960's to the early 1980's where it was kept in a shed until 2005. At that time the car was purchased and a full frame off restoration was commissioned. One day after the restoration was completed, this 300D took "Best in show," "Best in Class," "Sponsor's Choice," and "People's Choice," awards at the 2007 Big Sky MoparClub show in Montana- an extraordinary achievement. The following year it took "Best in Show" at the 300 Club meet in Reno, Nevada, and it has continued to receive awards and draw crowds to this day. A fantastic multiple awardwinning example, it has also been featured in many magazines and publications includingthe October 2009 issue of Hemmings Classic Car. A rare car to begin with as production was limited to just 618 examples, this car is made even more rare by the "999" paint code, which designates that this car was custom painted to match the first owner's personal request.
