Description

This is a very nice original 1963 Crown Imperial, this is a South Carolina car and I have lots of documentation, inspection certificates from 1969 thru 1985 and a bill of sale stating "take care of grandma's car"

I have been all through this car making everything right and safe to drive, master cylinder has been upgraded to a dual one for safety, new brake lines where needed, all brakes and bearing have been replaced as needed, allfront suspension bushings have been replaced and Ihad new u joints and center carrier bearing installed, transmission and engine have allbeen serviced and alloil leaks fixed, it has a new muffler and has no exhaust leaks...

I have removed all the oldugly undercoating and have a nicenew undercoating applied ( what a pain that was ) If you look at the pictures you can see the only3 small rust holes that are on the car and they are locatedin floorunder the passenger seat.

The body is very nicefor its age, it looks like grandma had a couple scrapes because you can see where there hashad differentpaint touch ups thru the years, I also tried to show acouple spots that the paint is starting to show defects on the bottom corners of the doors, and also stuck a maginetic business card on or by some of these spots to show this car is not full of bondo.

the interior is all original with no tears in the seats, door panels all look good, and carpet still looks good.all power windows work, door locks works, power antenna works (am radio don't work) all gauges and speedo work and rear correctly. the engine starts and purrs like a kitten. it does have an aftermarket carb with electric choke (I do still have original carb) transmissionworks and shifts great.

the bad is the heat and a/c will need some attention ( I have not got that far ) and the clock is inop

I have more pics if you need to see more, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.. I am kind of fussy with my cars and if something is wrong I have to make it right... I am not some backyard tech that slaps things together and screws the buyer...you can get in this car and go anywhere..

This is not a top show quality piece BUT it is a great survivor that you can take to the car shows, beach or where ever you may choose, and it will get lots of attention because this is something that you don't see very often....

if you have a question feel free to ask and I will give you an Honest answer..
