Description

Offered for sale is a very solid, well kept 1968 Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. This vehicle is not running and will need to have the tank and fuel line repaired or replaced. Last registered in 1997 the vehicle has been sitting since early 1998. It has a 440 engine and automatic transmission. Factory air conditioning that is all there and power windows. The car is in really good condition for its age and was stored inside for many years but spent the last 4 or 5 years outside. Some rodents have chewed some of the underhood wiring and hoses but the damage is minimal It currently has an aftermarket holley carburetor on it but I have the correct carburetor for it and it is included in the sale. There is one dent in the front bumper which I have pictured, otherwise the brightwork is in outstanding condition and NO RUST on the bumpers or grille. All the trim is there and presents well. The glass is all good. The car is complete right down to the factory hubcaps. The floors and trunk are ROCK SOLID with no rust at all that I can find. The underside still has it undercoating on it. Interior is remarkably in good condition but I am sure it is dried and may split easily with use. There are three very small areas of rust which are pictured. One spot is a few blisters just above the right rear wheel well, the other two are around the 1/4 vinyl top. This IS NOT a running driving car it is an Imperial Crown Coupe in very good original unrestored condition. The wheels turn freely as does the engine. I am placing it for sale as is before I start the restoration, as with anything once the restoration is started the price will go up. I cant stress how solid the condition is. I bought it as part of an estate. ClearArkansas Title in hand. We will be completely honest about the vehicle to the very best of our knowledge. This is a fairly rare car with only 2,656 of them made in 1968. VERY HARD TO FIND A 68 Crown Coupe especially not in this condition. TRADES CONSIDERED ( tell me what you have for trade) offered for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early at any time. Want it sooner? Make me an offer
