Selling an original 1958 factory Fuel Injected 392 Hemi Head Chrysler 300D in mostly original condition including paint. One of 16 production cars ever built it still has matching engine and transmission. It is mostly complete, interior is intact but will need total restoration. This car wasbuilt on March 6th of 1958.It is number 12 of the 16 cars ever made. Black plate California car, parked in 1985. Only 3 MMM Mesa Tan F.I. 300D's made with tan leather interior. Car comes with a lot of documentation including letter and authentication from Gill Cunningham, former President of Chrysler 300 International Club. Loaded with many factory options including 6 way power seat, power steering windows and brakes, power antenna, dual deluxe AC with heater, fuel injection w/ AC, 3.31 sure-grip, remote mirror, radio, and Solex tinted glass. In fact, only 5 cars were equipped with AC and this is the only one with dual front and rear Air Conditioning. Bendix Injection was rushed into production but did not work well at the time so option was cancelled and these cars were ultimately recalled and fitted with 2x4 carbs installed. Injection is long gone but some of the unique injection stuff is still there including most under hood wiring and oil filler neck. Removable cover is still in center of the trunk pan for Bendix fuel pump access. Driver side trim is missing but both distinct 300D Fuel Injection quarter panel medallions are present.
