Description

WOW! Here is one fantastic piece of automotive history. Up for auction is a nicely restored 1961 Chrysler 300G. This beautiful 2 door is powered by the 413 Cross Ram engine with the dual 4 barrel carbs. The transmission is the 727 TorqueFlite Automatic with push button trans. The exterior paint is in very nice condition with the paint code of WW1, Black. The interior tan leather swivel bucket seats are in excellent shape with the correct trim code of 833. The car runs and drives very well. Only 1617 Chrysler 300G's were built and out of those only 1280 were 2 door hardtops. This is a super clean, straight, rust free car. It has an older restoration but it shows itself well. All mechanicals are in working order except the speedometer and tach. A new cable was installed for the tach but it jumps at low speeds and begins to work properly with higher speeds/rpm's. Large folders with receipts and details on work done. More pictures to send if interested and please do not hesitate to ask questions or ask for certain photos. This rare car is for sale locally and can be sold before the auction ends. Only selling due to family illness. Reserve is well below what we have in this car. You will not be disappointed!! Happy bidding!!!

Just to clarify. The paint code of WW1 is for Alaskan or Artic White. At some point in time this car was switched over to black. Not sure when. The car has always been Black for us. Hope I did not mislead anyone. That is why I took a picture of the tag. Thank You

I also for got to mention that the rims are not original. The original rims were just a steel rim. This car has been converted to front disc brakes and the original rims would not fit so the wire wheels were added. This conversion was done by the previous owner. A great improvement for any driving that you would do.
