More pics coming as we unpack the parts from storage.
1964 Chrysler 300 convertible. Has title. I purchased this project from a local guy who got in over his head, he had it completely dismantled and on a rotisserie. He said it is all there, but I cant verify that by looking at a large pile of parts.
Here is the story I got. It sat outside for years, top went bad, so it had snow and water in it. The floor had bad spots, so he completely tore it apart, put it on a rack, and started with good intentions to do it right. He found a parts car, and took the floor out of it. He took time to drill out every spot weld of the new floor, not just hacked it out. His welding experience wasnt enough, and he got.overwhelmed, plus had a major medical situation, and here we are.
The frame, rear end, and motor are not completely torqued in place, just put together so it will roll.
What I know.. the body has the floor pan in place, but far from finished, and I honestly dont know if it needs to be started over. Other rust in the rear quarters.
Engine and trans.. he said was stuck, and he started taking it apart. It is right to the car, but I am assuming needs total rebuild.
Interior.. door panels are shot, but have the little chrome trim and power window switches. Bucket seats are there. The wet carpet rusted the rails over the years, but it is all there. Dont know about cleaning them up, or at least a pattern.
Convertible top frame is there. Somehow one rib has rust damage.
I will add pics of trim, dash, and other stuff tomorrow as I unpack it.
If it gets the opening bid, it is gone. If not, I will sell parts. Car is an hour north of denver.
