Hi folks. Up for sale is a 1964 Chrysler New Yorker 2-door coupe. Not too many coupes were sold so this is one rare beast. Especially with the half-vinyl roof. I picked this one up at an estate sale so I don't have much history on it. I'm told it has a 413 Wedge in it. It has brand new 21 inch tires and a new dual exhaust. Note that the chrome wheel covers are plastic. The car also comes with a set of brand new Goodyear tires on 14 inch rims with the original hub caps. The interior is in pretty good shape but could use work in a few places. I had the carb rebuilt and it has a fresh oil change. How does the car run? Like a dream! it starts up everytime and has a nice rumble. This car has lots of power and delivers it evenly with no hesitation. The body is in nice shape with a couple of stone ships in the hood and a couple of cracks in the paint where the New Yorker emblems are mounted. The underbody is solid with no holes or softness, Same with the trunk, solid with no holes or soft spots. Items that don't work? : the speedometer, fuel gauge is a bit wonky and goes up and down and the lighter doesn't work. Feel free to ask me questions and I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. Thank you! The above mentioned vehicle has been described to the best of my ability, and asis the case with all pre-owned vehicles, the condition is subjective. It is to beassumed that all used vehicles have some degree of wear; as such I assume noresponsibility for omissions or errors in my description. The car is sold as-is with no expressed warranty. Payment is accepted in the formof an electronic bank transfer or cash. The car can be shipped worldwide but it'sthe buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for this service. |
