Description

1962 Chrysler Imperial Crown. Condition is Used. Bought in 2012 while I was in Afghanistan for $12,000 so I could take my family to the Reno NV Hot August Night Classic Car Event on my leave. I had the car checked by a specialist in Seattle WA it had a clean bill of health less non-working florescent dash light and driver door stop. Friends picked it up in Seattle; the folks at the Seattle Space Needle featured it in-front of the Space Needle when my friends dined, It still drives well. I left Afghanistan in 2018 after my last deployment. The car was used twice in Hot August Night it set since 2013 and developed some cosmetic issues. Passenger Rear Quarter panel has an area where bondo came off. Slight rust around back window - passenger corner. Rear of trunk lip area small bondo and rust area, Seats have degraded plus vertical tear on drivers side - photos attached; because of deaths in family I will not be able to restore small issues. Offered for less than I paid so a restorer can bring it back up. Have several dash emblems original was glued together believe there are enough pierces to put a solid one back together. I put less than 5000 miles on the car. I added more pictures on the issues and rough areas, Included front and rear seat. Stains on seats are an orange fungus or something that grew on the leather. Added dash picture, added typical rr wheel cover all covers in similar shape. Added front driver door jam both jams are clean. Drivers door jam picture shows where the front door panel is loose. Vehicle is sold as is that is why it is listed for considerably less than fair value.
