1960 Chrysler 300F, black with 86,034 Miles available now!
Description
The 300F introduced a new, higher power 413 cu in (6.8 L) 'wedge' engine delivering 375 HP from the factory.
A new, and completely unique “Cross Ram” manifold was used, placing the carbs on each side of the engine. The design was to have a “supercharging” effect in the heart of the RPM range.
One of only 964 built, this car came from the factory in black with tan interior and remains in largely correct original condition.
This 300 spent the bulk of its life in the Pacific Northwest were it was not exposed to snow and other corrosive elements. As a result, it is a phenomenally straight and good looking car.
It is powered by its original 413 cross ram induction engine and torqueflight three speed pushbutton transmission.
All of the sheet metal is original to the car and there is no signs of rust repair or accident repair anywhere on them.
The paint is very nice but thin in spots as some of it is believed to be original. Likewise, the interior is carefully treated and preserved and has the appearance one would expect of an interior that was restored.
All of the gauges and instrumentation work. Te steering wheel is beautiful and the car runs and drives great.
This 300F has its original owners manual and has known history since the late 1980's. It is one of 290 currently in the Chrysler registry.
It is argued that the 300F is the most handsome and desirable of all of Chrysler 300 series automobiles. Indeed, this one is a true representative of care-of-ownership, styling and performance.
