The vehicle is very original, and appears to have been well maintained. It was last registered in California in approximately 2001. I purchased this vehicle as a restoration candidate, and as such, the vehicle does not run (nor have I even tried to start the vehicle). I do have keys for the vehicle.
I note this is an LHM (green-fluid) vehicle, but it appears someone put red fluid into the reservoir at some point.
There are some small rust bubbles as shown in the photos. A survey of the underside of the vehicle shows one location of rust-through in the passenger rocker panel that is a few inches long. Other common rust areas look to be in exceptional shape (i.e. driver’s rocker panel, trunk).
The left rear door card is missing. The leather is aged, but quite salvageable in my opinion.
The vehicle title is from California, and is signed-off by the previous owner. I have a bill of sale transferring ownership from them to me. Said another way, the vehicle title is not in my name, but I have an open, signed title from the previous owner.
Some service records are available for the vehicle and indicate long-time residency in California. Interestingly, the service records are inconsistent regarding “roll-over” of the odometer. Some records indicate a roll-over has occurred, while other service records (from the same shop) do not. The odometer reads 94,702 miles, however the total mileage is unknown.
I am selling the vehicle because I recently started graduate school and do not have the time to work on this vehicle in the coming years. Vehicle is located at my house in Lake Oswego, Oregon 97034, around 10 miles south of Portland, Oregon.
Reserve is modest for a DS of this specification and originality. A non-refundable deposit is required within 48-hours, and full payment expected within 10 days by wire transfer or other negotiated arrangement.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need specific additional photos. I am not an expert on the DS, but will try my best to answer. Thank you for your interest.
