citroen Ds 21
Description
I bought this car almost 2 years ago and because of health and family issues I haven't done much with it at all. I got a lot of maintenance history with it and it has apparently spent most of it's life in Calif and is now in AZ. The car is rust free which should be enough right there for you to buy it. I've had the rear fenders off and the rear seat and gas tank cover off (to check fuel gauge) and there is virtually no rust under there anywhere. Hydraulically I've had the brake accumulator rebuilt and replaced the front spheres with new ones. The citromatic works perfect as do all the hydraulics. The interior was all redone including the headliner, seats, doors and floors. Tires are like new. It was repainted at some time and the paint is still shiny but is showing it's age. Engine sounds good, doesn't smoke or leak oil and according to the maintenance records it was completely rebuilt at one time including pistons and liners. The car has the european turning headlights and airhorn. It also has a rear A/C installed and everything is hooked up but I can't tell you whether it works or not because I've never tried it so assume it needs work. The charging system works good and all other electrical components work except radio. I think it's maybe the original am/fm but it's not ired up and the speaker is shot. Original antenna is there. So there it is. I've only driven this car 150 miles since I've had it. Drove it up to Scottsdale once and it ran flawlessly. The most important thing about buying one of these is stating with a rust free car. And here it is.
