Description

This is a rare RHD Datsun Fairlady Z (aka 1976 280z in the States). Imported from Japan. Have Japanese license plates if desired. Starts right up. Runs very well. There is a slight jump/pop when going into first when initially starting the car. Doesn't affect driveability. Other than that all gears work well. No vibration at highway speeds. 4 seater.
Comes with NIB (uninstalled) RetroSound Digital Radio with all modern accoutrements.
If you know the car, you know how rare it is. In addition, they are collectors items in Japan and taxed extremely high.
This car shows no signs of accidents. I have driven it problem free for the last year after having rebuilt the original engine. The interior is all new leather. As seen in one of the pics the floor panels are rust free and solid. The bumpers and side mirrors are chrome. I believe that they are plastidipped. Same with the original Japanese JDM rims. No major dents, though there are a few dings here and there as should be expected of a 40 year old car.
If you are in DC, Maryland or Virginia, I'm happy to make her available for serious purchasers. Any questions, ask away.

ADDITIONAL INFO
Original color was silver. Original interior was all black. The car sat for approximately 15 years, garaged in Arizona before I got her. She has 4 new Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires. In March 2016 replaced all brake hoses, replaced master brake cylinder, distro cap replaced, all spark plugs and wires replaceed with NGK, replaced fuel carburetor, electric fuel pump, and all filters. Added new lights/bulbs all around as needed. Has original hardwood gear shift and several aftermarket z gear shits for the 4 speed.
Oh yeah, the speedometer works but is a little glitchy at slow speeds. No issue above 30km/hour.
Has air conditioner installed, but I have not touched it.
As you can tell from the picture, the dashboard had/has a few cracks. Started the repair job (can point you in the direction of a site that details a professional like repair), but haven't had the time to finish.
I have more pictures including original color if interested, but I've reached ebay limit.
