1977 Datsun 280z for sale.
A beautiful 280z that has been mechanically enhanced with modern technology. Fuel Injected V-8 w/ 6 speed transmission, CV axles, LSD differential, and disc brakes all around. Excellent condition visually and mechanically.
1997 LT1 Engine and 6 speed transmission (T56) pulled from a Camaro SS with only ~25k miles on car. Port, polish, roller rockers and cam. 26k miles driven since swap. Needs nothing.
Drives straight and tight. Shifts smoothly and effortlessly. Engine pulls with no hesitation. No vibrations. Starts easy and on first try. Truly the best of both worlds - modern reliability with vintage cool looks.

Swap was done by previous (2nd) owner in 1998 using a kit from a company called Jaguars that Run. The car has been driven 26k miles in the past 18 years with the swap. No issues and it has been throughly tested and proven. Modern reliability and performance with vintage retro cool.
