1978 datsun 510 wagon
Description
This beautiful 1978 Datsun 510 wagon is a real head turner and is in rust-free state. I am a Nissan guy at heart and have two b13 Nissan race cars I am working on at the moment. I just don't have the room for this car. It is an automatic and I was planning to do a 4 speed conversion on it. I did track down every bit and piece for the swap including new master, slave cylinder, transmission (almost done being resealed by Arizona transmission), hardware, cross member, mounts, pedal box, flywheel, and new clutch and pressure plate, etc...This conversion kit will come with the car. The l20b is a strong runner and the automatic shifts great but really keeps the engine from singing. Needs nothing however as it sits. All fluids are fresh, and has had a recent tune up. A Weber performance carburetor was added along with a performance intake manifold. Remainder of the car is fairly close to stock.
I am the 3rd owner, was sold new in Yuma, Arizona, was purchased by the second owner around 1980 in Tucson and then sold to me. Very clean, very rust free, and rubbers all look good. Dash is a beautifully intact, uncracked example.
Has ice cold r12 A/C. The chassis is high mileage (actual mileage unknown and is estimated on the high side above) but was immaculately maintained and is in head turner condition. Must be seen in person to be truly appreciated!
Vehicle is for sale locally as well, I reserve the right to end this auction early. I will be more than happy to assist with loading the vehicle with all of the bits and pieces for the the transmission swap as well as being present and in communication with the lucky buyer if the vehicle needs to be shipped. All shipping costs, as per usual, are the responsibility of the buyer. Please feel free to ask any and all questions for remaining details. I will be happy to send further, more detailed pictures at your request.
