Description
You are viewing a Red 1985 Nissan Datsun 720 4X4 Pickup Truck King Cab 2.4L Z24 4 Cylinder listed as a NO RESERVE, as is, no warranty auction. Final bid wins. This truck was running when parked, have not tried to start since parked last year, do know truck needs a battery. Currently the truck does not run so would have to be towed. The condition of truck unfortunately is very rusted underneath and why reason truck is parked. There are a lot of good parts that could be used but personally think it might be a little far gone to restore, but if interested anything is possible. The truck also comes with a 6'10" "Snow Bear" snow plow. All the controls and mounts come with truck as well as the mount of the front of the truck. Last known use of plow was 2 years ago but don't know if plow still works now if hooked back up.
The truck has a inline 4 Cylinder with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission and 4 wheel drive. The body has rust also but some metal still in ok shape for age of truck. Hope most of the pictures describe the condition of the truck and the fact it has been sitting.
If you have any questions at all please email me. Thanks and Happy Bidding
HISTORY
Datsun/Nissan 720
America
In 1980, Nissan introduced the Datsun 720 as successor to the 620. In the US, the 720 came in regular cab and "King Cab" models, with regular and long bed options with standard (GL), deluxe (DX), and "Sport Truck" (ST) trim packages, all of which had two doors. In addition, from 1984 to 1986 a covered utility body style like that of the first generation4Runnerwas available as an aftermarket conversion by a company called Matrix3 called the Bushmaster. The Datsun 720 was available in both2WDand4WDconfigurations, the latter having a divorced transfer case. The long wheelbase 2WD trucks (King Cab, short bed, and regular cab, long bed) had a two-piece driveshaft with a center support bearing.
The 720 was assembled in the newly built Smyrna, Tennessee plant from the 1983.5 model year until 1986. However, Nissan of Mexico continued to build the pickup until 1991, 1992 being its last official model year. They were exported to the whole of Latin America. SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA
