HISTORY
Produced of the assembly line in 1970 this truck had a mission in its life to be like no other and once in the hands of the most talented metal worker in its time became one amazing vehicle showing nothing short of amazing craftsmanship!
Still being young to the streets and not yet even broke in the Artist took this truck and chopped the roof 4" flawlessly seaming it to where it looked as if it came off the showroom floor! Then ADDING SOME SERIOUSLY TASTEFULL UNIQUE FLARES FRONT AND REAR and unmatched body lines and features like no other!! Relocated the battery to the rear of the bed, custom fabricating rear suspension...fully chrome dipping a Datsun rear and stuffing a mildly built all aluminum Buick special 215 v8 in front of the legendary strong MUNCIE 4 speed! full custom interior with power windows, classic pin tuck interior and slamming her full of gauges and cool factor items....a split sun roof...window tint and much more! Most of this being done in 1982 it was ready for people to see the amazing truck in its first unveiling of the 1983 PORTLAND OREGON Roadster Show! Since then it has passed through a couple collectors hands and landed in my lap where I enjoyed her for a bit and have decided to bring it back under the show light and giving the chance for someone else to own and enjoy this masterpiece of a vehicle!
Vehicle Condition Today
This truck is in amazing shape showing absolutely ZERO signs of rust as it has been stored indoors its entire life, The paint has started to crack and blemish due to many years of hot sun during car shows and such. Since it has been rattle canned flat black to protect her from any damage. It looks great with the Rat Rod look but could easily be striped down and given a show quality paint job if that's what you desire! There is one dent in this entire truck in the right front fender as you can see in the photos....one easy fix. There is some body work needed on the tail gate where someone started to sand her down and made the body shaping filler on the gate a little waxy and then stopped This truck as is where it sits is more then presentable to drive and I get compliments everywhere I go!. The doors, tail gate and hood open and close flawlessly without issues. Everything works as it should. 97k miles on the odometer
Mechanically this truck is perfect. runs and drives great...fires right up and doesn't miss a beat...the clutch works great and doesn't show any signs of needing replacement, the engine is extremely clean along with the rest of the truck. sitting atop the engine is an Edelbrock carb companied by some custom big tube headers and a sweet intake! The performance all spews out of the classic corvette style side pipes and sounds amazing!
Interior has no blemishes and is in great shape also includes the original pin tuck seats from the build in 1982
Suspension and steering is tight and works properly and is accompanies by some classic BF Goodrich Radials around some nice rally type steel wheels with classic centers!
