1980 DATSUN 280ZX 10TH ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION W/ 5 SPEED & 24800 ORIG. MILES - 1 OF ONLY 500 BUILT IN RED / BLACK W/ RED INTERIOR ( 200 BELIEVED TO BE LEFT ) AND YES, THIS IS THE #3000 OF THE 3000 BUILT - SEE PLAQUE. IT IS 100% THE WAY IT WAS DELIVERED FROM FACTORY, ASIDE FROM TIRES AND SOME MISC. ITEMS. NO RESTORATION, PAINT WORK OR MODIFICATIONS. IT BELONGED TO 1 OWNER WHO WAS EXTREMELY HOWARD HUGHES LIKE, SOME ECCENTRIC INDIV., ULTRA RECLUSIVE, AND CAR WAS STORED FOR ALL THESE YEARS. I HAD TO SIGN A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT WHEN I PURCHASED NOT TO DIVULGE ANY PERSONAL INFO. I WAS; HOWEVER, ABLE TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL TITLE, BUT PERSONAL INFO. IS MARKED OUT. THIS CAR IS FOR THE SERIOUS PERSON WHO IS GOING TO PRESERVE OR MUSEUM IT.

Theoriginal Red / Black paint shineslike the garaged car it is.The moldings, handles, window glass,lettering,t-toppanels, covers,rubber seals, and all other exterior featuresare insuperb condition with no dents or scratches I'm aware of. Thewheelsareshiny cleanandthe Uniroyaltires are near new.Itdrives straight down the road with zero issues and never in harsh weather or left outside.Engine cool fan still works flawlessly.

On the inside, the special Red leather interior still looks, feels and smells near new and sweet, all the way down to the floor mats.- no fade at all ( I have the red ones bagged ).As you can see in the pics, the seats, carpet orany other interior panelshave no wear.The door trim, t-top bags,headliner, t-top shields, rear hatch panels, inserts, dash (0 cracks ), center console, faceplates,etc. arestock orig.andall of the interior buttons / switches- power windows,door locks,antenna, window defog, cruise,hatch release function as they should.Theorig. stereo/ speakers soundgreat, surround sound is great, and the clock keeps perfect time. All of thelights /gauges function as they should.

Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drivesas you would expectof a preserved item. The engine compartmentisstock / unmodifiedand servicing is up to date -a/c,belts,coolant,fluids all changed/ maintained at the proper intervals,The stock L28 engine performs flawlessly, the clutch is tight and it stops on a dime.The a/c is blistering and all of the other mechanical functionsareon point.

Take it to a Z club Show / event, drive it for pleasure or just look at it in your garage. It is a winner no matter what the purpose is.
