Originally Light Blue Metallic/White.
The body has been sanded to bare metal and epoxy primed. Battery tray area and Passenger T/C Rod Area is solid. Hatch solid, Front Radiator Supports solid. Floors have some holes near the front and a couple small holes on driver side under front part of seat. No rust behind seats!!! There is a little wheel well rust over rear passenger wheel and a very small amount of non-structural bubbling at passenger front bottom of door. Other than that...a very solid Z worthy of building. HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION.
Car has taken a small hit on driver side front. My frame guy says not too bad, so I was in the process of getting it all back together to take it in to have it pulled back out. SEE PHOTOS. Driver door and hood have been sourced from another Z-car. This car was painted burgundy at some point. Otherwise all other parts original except one headlight bucket. What you see is what you get. I do have the original air pump, weird air bottle thing, carbon canister and all related items and all water/radiator fluid bypass tubing. I do NOT have front fenders or front/rear bumpers.Interior is mostly all there, new, cheap carpet kit installed. Dash cracked of course.Body is surprisinglyin great condition. Car was sanded down to bare metal and epoxy primed awhile back, with exception of hood. Glass is good, rear hatch is early vertical defrost version.
Engine runs great. 98K original miles! NEW carburetor float valves from Z-Therapy. Carbs removed and rebuilt, adjusted, new gaskets, etc... All smog stuff has been removed with exception to air injection manifold. I was going to perform the block-off but never got a round to it. SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The original fuel tank is not being used because it needs cleaning. Auxiliary tank being used.
Transmission shifts flawlessly and performs great. NEW Clutch Slave and Master Cylinders, Metal Tubing and Rubber Clutch Hose. Driver U-Joint is worn and should be replaced sooner vs. later.
Brakes not functional. E-Brake working fine.
I have not tried to get any electrical stuff working as in lighting, gauges, etc... Nothing appears molested, so shouldn't be too hard to get stuff working. Electrical is not my strong suit, so I was putting it off until last.
I like old 2 stroke motorcycles, Bultaco, Yamaha. Moto Guzzis also.
