1974 Datsun 260Z with LS1 5.7L fuel injected V8 and automatic transmission with air conditioning. Almost everything on this car mechanically has been replaced in the last 5 years and the car has been driven regularly. Nissan Monterey blue with a flat clear coat (Not a wrap). Nissan color that came on 370z’s. This car was all original when purchased in the mid west about 5 years ago and is very rust free.

~Ford 8.8 IRS rearend swap with RCV 800HP axles, chromoly inner stub axles, 3.55 gears and posi. All new driveshaft, diff bearings, gears and posi unit in the 8.8 have about 10K miles on them. Zcardepot.com 8.8 mounts. The cost of this 8.8 IRS swap is about $4000.

It has been daily driven for almost 4 years so the paint isn’t in show condition. Looks great ten feet away but up close paint has cracked at the pillars and other edges on the car that experience flex or vibrations. Only three rust repairs were done when the car was bought. Floor pans and frame rails are solid.All of the undercarriage was coated in POR15. Only rust repairs were a spot on the roof by the windshield weatherstrip, passenger rocker to the rear of the car, and battery tray area. Passenger rocker has some rust bubbles coming up and some bubbles coming up at the base of the hatch (Shown in pictures).
This 260Z is well sorted and ready to drive anywhere and enjoy. Fast and reliable.
