1972 Datsun 240z All Original (purchased from original owner in 2018) 240 Z

Description

1972 Datsun 240Z purchased from the original owner, (our neighbor of 30 years) in 2018. We intended to keep it as part of our private collection, (we invested over $2,000.00 in brake work as soon as we bought it), but for health reasons, we must sell.

We're not experts, but the entire car appears to be completely original except for minor "repairs", such as the carpet has been replaced, (but not well done), and some age-discolored panels removed and repainted white.
We have a significant amount of receipts dating back to 1978.
The car starts up quickly, yet is sluggish until it warms up. The shocks are definitely tired, and as a result, the car is not as solid on the freeway as it would with a new set of shocks, though I've driven it over 30 minutes on the freeway and in town without issue.
Original radio still works, but the power telescopic antenna just stopped working recently.
In his younger years, the original owner did some of his own minor repairs and oil changes. Apparently, he was working on the windshield wipers when he last drove it about 3 years prior to our purchasing the car. I don't know what the issue was, but all parts are with the car.
Horn works, but the cap doesn't stay on due to age fatigue in the plastic.
