1983 Datsun 280zx 5-speed, survivor!

Hello! Up for sale is my beloved 1983 Datsun 280 ZX. We restored the exterior about 8 years ago, and I've enjoyed driving it both as a daily driver and a spare car ever since, but it's time to pass it on to a new owner. This is a great old classic Japanese car based on a classic British sports car design.
The car starts and runs great, and has honestly been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Ibelieve that the engine was probably rebuilt at one time, because it is really strong and shows no indication of the miles on the odometer. We did the standard tune-up when we got it, but beyond that, all I've done is routine oil changes, spark plugs, an alternator, a starter, and a battery. (Starter and battery new this year due to 2 years storage.)
Mechanically, the car is quite sound. There is a tiny bit of play in the steering wheel, indicating that it may need some front end work down the road, but it is not an immediate concern. It runs great, starts fine, and everything works, with the exception of the aftermarket stereo (another identical head unit I had around is included for you to try.)
Please feel free to ask any questions about this gem. New seats and a little interior TLC would make this a great daily driver. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country tomorrow. I simply don't have the time, and I need the cash to start my new business.
Vehicle is as-is without warrantee in Denver, Colorado. Will deliver within 100 miles, or if buyer wants to arrange for shipping, will deliver to any shipping depot in the Denver area for no additional charge. Car runs great and is legally registered. Local buyers can arrange for a test drive if they wish.
Reserve is reasonable for the rarity of these cars these days. I will end the auction early... it's called "Buy it Now." If you don't want to pay the "Buy it Now" price, or if the reserve has been met, then the auction will proceed.
$500.00 deposit required within 48 hours via PayPal. Buyer has one week to send complete payment via cashier's check (allow 2 business days for verification by our bank) or cash at pickup. We can store the car for longer if necessary, but will need payment in full within one week of the end of the sale.
