1977 DATSUN 710 "ESTATE" WAGON + EXTRAS!!!
UP FOR GRABS IS MY RECONDITIONED, DAILY DRIVER 710...(Yes it runs, yes it's registered, yes it gets used daily)

The NEW...
L20b engine fully rebuilt with reciepts from local machinist. Flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate all new!
Aluminum Radiator, hoses, starter, and alternator...all new as well!
New KYB ExcelG shocks on all corners, and 2"lowering conversion.Front end stiffened with modified struts using 240z inserts and shorter springsRear end has 2" Lowering blocks and heavy duty U bolts. Kit from a Dodge d50 truck used.
All bushings, bearings, and ujoints have been replaced and upgraded to "prothane" where possible. HUGE IMPROVEMENT IN STEERING AND SLOP.
Tires replaced less than 90 days ago. Exhaust is new from the CAT back as well as the muffler.
THE OLD...
Rear end is intact and operational..gear oil flushed and replaced with heavy duty gear oil. Still using the original 4spd manual transmission...2 SPARE TRANSMISSIONS INCLUDED
THE UGLY...
This car lives outdoors ...about a mile from the ocean. When I bought it in put a good amount of time into cleaning it up for a reasonable cost. The door rails were removed and holes welded...the side running lights have been shaved and filled...a lot of cleanup has been done to brimg it to where it is. The sheetmetal has rust...as does just about any Datsun under $5k. The ugly truth is that it isn't worth a complete restoration...but it is a fantastic daily driver. Which, to me, is far more valuable. It starts easily, and runs reliably. I have taken it on several day long and overnight trips without incident.
The only issues remaining are turn signals that sometimes pop their fuse, and the interior drivers door handle needs adjustment.
Included with purchase are the 2 spare transmissions (not pictured) replacement front seats from a 510, and an extra set of wheels which almost ended up on the car. They fit, but I like the ones I've chosen better...
This car passes smog without issue. If sold to CA buyer the car will be inspected by my mechanic and smogged so that there is no issue transferring ownership. I do have the paper title.
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING/PICK UP....HOWEVER....I am willing to deliver this car to within 100 miles of 93442, where it is located now.
