Datsun 1979 280 ZX

Description

This 1979 Datsun 280ZX is in excellent condition, top to bottom, front to back. It has traveled only 59,998 miles since new and has had only two previous owners. I've been told that it has rarely been driven in the rain and has always been garage stored and parked under cover. The interior looks like new and only has one blemish, a tiny spot on the drivers seat that was probably caused by a cigarette. The body is straight and rust free with original paint and chrome that shines like new. There are a few, barely visible, tiny dings but you would need to search to find one. It has the the dealer installed, The "Newman" trim package consisting of the sun roof, headlight covers, Classic Rustop Inc. treatment, and Formula One, window film on the glass. The Under hood area is about as clean and shiny as the exterior including the belts, hoses, etc. The engine runs strong and fast and it's five speed transmission is smooth and quiet. It shifts perfectly through all the gears. The wheels are really nice and the Firestone tires are all in near new, excellent condition. The previous owner installed a Begi brand, rising rate fuel pressure regulator, MSA's big throat throttle body, Cusco strut braces and a performance muffler with duel exhaust. He also meticulously serviced it at 3K mile intervals, really loved the car and took it to weekend shows. It would be difficult to find a nicer ZX anywhere.
