For those who have expressed a concern about the carbon fiber negative lift wing - this modification can be removed with onlyminor repairs needed to the fastener holes in the rear louver. There are some structural supports added to theunderside of the louver which would be left in place to eliminate any possibility of the louver cracking in the future. These supports are made from welded steel and are painted to match the louver so that they aren't readily visible.

The wing is not a "spoiler" in that it doesn't merely interrupt the airflow. This wing is a true inverted airfoil section that produces a downward "lift" at speed. It was carefully placed in relation to the airflow around and over the car to maximize the effect without inducing excessive drag or turbulent air behind the car in motion. The wing and its custom stainless steel uprights are truly a work of functionalart.

DeLoreans (in general) are a joy to drive ... this one is by far the most "settled" example I have ever driven. The combination of the lowered stance, custom wheels and low-profile tires, side skirts, and the wing create a potent and aerodynamically effective package that looks beautiful at speed. This DeLorean is a dream to drive.
