One of only a thousand DeLorean’s built in 1982, this DMC12 with only 18,914 miles, is a two owner Southern car. The original owner, from Savannah GA, drove the vehicle for just 8345 miles. The second owner, from Blowing Rock NC, drove the remaining 10,569 over the course of 30 years. This is an accident free car with a clean title and has been garage kept most of it’s life. The second owner, from whom I purchased the DeLorean, is in his late 80’s and recollects updating the brakes, fuel system and hydraulics at 18,000 miles. Having lost his garage space 3 years ago the dash and passenger side seat have suffered sun damage. The engine turns freely but I have not tried to make it run. In my opinion to make this 1982 DeLorean a daily driver the following items need to be addressed,
•hydraulic brakes
•hydraulic clutch
•fuel system drained
•general tuneup (including electronics- from sitting)
•new battery
•passenger side marker replaced
•interior dash & passenger seat restored, the bumper covers need to be cleaned and painted
