Description

This is a 1939 DeSoto project car. This is a one year car hard to find . Very rare. It be a one of a kind at any car show. I was going to make a street rod out of it. Pretty much everything is there on the outside of the car. I bought many more parts since the pictures were taken. I have a sun visor. another front nose and grill, I bought more trim pieces. I bought NOS tail lights. NOS headlight bezels. plus many more parts. Also with the car I will include all the booklets and ligatureand advertisementsI have acquiredabout this car. This car would make a great street rod or rat rod. Also with the car it comes with a Camero sub frame and a Camero rear end.. The width of the Wheels apart on the car is the same as the Desoto and the frame lines up. I was going to merge the Camero sub frame with the Desoto Frame that way there would be modern steeringand handlingpower steering power brakes and any Chevy engine and transmission would bolt right in. I also still have the original DeSoto rear end and some front end parts.I have the steering wheel banjo type but it is in rough shape. there is seats in the car i think original I am not sure but they need completelyre done. The very back of the trunk pan inside dips down and in that small dip it has rotted out also the metal is missing just below the fire wall but that didn'tmatter as that would get redone anyway with a new transmissiongoing in. I have seen on Ebay replacementpans pieces for this car cheap.and other than that ans some rust on the running boards the car is solid. I have the original gas tank. I do not have the engine or transmission.. The frame is currently off the car and has been sandblasted and primed, The body has been mounted to a wood frame for working on with castors. the fenders and hood along with the bumpers are all off the car basically the body is patialy dismantled. That was the way I bought it. the picture I took was right after I got the car and I assmbled all the parts together to get a good look at what i got. With winter and weather I dont want to reassmble the car right now for photos. I will at your request take pictures of all the parts if you like... I do not have a title for this car but i understand that can be easily gotten depending where you live a title can be purchased . I have had this car for many years and I have the bill of sale from the man I bought it from and I will give you a bill of sale... Build this car use it for parts. street rod it Rat rod it. it will make a cool ride. In the pictures I show a red car that was my intention to make this car look like that. I got into to many projects so I need to sell this one. feel free to contact me if you have anymore question.. Buyer responsible for picking up and shipping. Again I do not have a title. Ebay would not let me list unless I marked it as clear. it did not have a choice of missing title.
