Nicely restored 1956 DeSoto Firedome station wagon. If you are looking for one of these, this is the one to have! It has undergone a complete restoration with everything working and being as new and restored to factory specifications. Runs and drives nicely.

We purchased this vehicle in 1993 and have spent the last several years restoring it. All aspects of the restoration have been completed including paint and body work (painted the original colors), interior and upholstery (reupholstered with original fabric, the headliner is the original and in good condition), andcomplete replating of the bumpers, emblems, chrome trim, etc. All stainless trim was polished and all flat glass was replaced as well. The engine and transmission were rebuilt prior to our ownership and are in great shape. The engine runs quiet and smooth and the transmission shifts nicely.

These cars are getting hard to find and restoration costs over the years exceed the starting bid, so bid to win! The car has always been garaged and can continue to be garaged until such time as the buyer picks it up.
